BRES Magazine (Holland) Article February 2021 Edition
Introduction by Emy ten Seldam
Cheryl Stoll-Thygeson is a remarkable woman and a dear friend of mine since around 1978.
Originally from Trinidad, she grew up in England, lived in Australia and now lives in California. Under the guidance of composer and conductor Dennis Stoll (1912-1987) she was the leading dancer in an Egyptian temple dance group, the Ancient Egyptian Temple Dancers. The dances to the music of Dennis Stoll brought spectators into a meditative state of peace. Cheryl always radiates with energy, has a deep insight into people and assists them where she can. She acknowledges the importance of children and young people getting a good start in life and being inspired to use their talents for themselves and their fellow human beings. Therefore, with her enthusiasm and insight she assists many children and their parents. She takes the date of birth of a child as a basis, which gives her an immediate inner picture of the potential of the child concerned. An example: a mother asked her what on earth she could do with her unruly child of 6 years old who was out of control at school and rather aggressive. On looking at the date of birth Cheryl advised her to have the child play the piano. The mother did not like the idea as she was not familiar at all with music and there wasn’t a piano available. Only after the third time Cheryl advised this to the mother did she arrange that the child could play the piano. Now the boy is 32 years old, he is a famous concert pianist, conductor and has 52 students.
Because we talked during a Skype meeting about children, she remembered that in 2014, in July and August, she wrote down every day a few lines on the potential of a child that was born on that particular day. She had forgotten about that, but now it occurred to her again, which gave her the feeling that she had to do something with it. She realised that children in this time should be guided in a different way; not with any pressure, rules, or dogmas, but through experiencing colour, sound, movement and numbers. In this way the child resonates with this so that the inner potential of the child (what she calls the ‘Star Being’) can be made aware. The more this is manifested in the child, the more the child is filled with this, the more the ego personality diminishes.
I asked her if she perhaps could write down something about this in an article. She did, which follows on the next pages. The descriptions of the children are very brief. What she intends to say is that every child is born with a certain potential and mission and that it is important for parents to help them to develop this. For Cheryl it is the basis from which she works with children and their parents. For you as reader it can be an inspiration to generally look in a different way at children and to see the importance of a holistic and spiritual approach, through which children can flourish. Especially children born after 2010 are children who can make an important contribution to this time of transition.
Star Beings for a New World
In London, UK, 42 years ago, I married the late Dennis Stoll who founded the Ancient Egyptian Arts Association, which used the meditational arts of Music, Dance, Poetry and Paintings to still the mind and awaken the intelligence of the heart.
Together we lectured, gave workshops and seminars, held retreats, presented and performed with the Ancient Egyptian Temple Dancers in the UK, Europe, Egypt and Australia.
As one of the Temple Dancers, I very quickly realised that purification of the heart was necessary to show the intelligence that is natural to it when dancing. This observation led me to be interested in Ancient Egyptian cosmology. The beauty and wholeness of a point of light, which holds sound and can be heard as the human body moves through life, was fascinating and exciting.
Discovering that I had a gift to translate abstract but perceptible information, the Star Wisdom Teaching was born as a dance of the cosmic Star Beings.

Since Dennis’ passing 33 years ago, I have been further developing Star Wisdom Teaching as an art form for living with Life Skills that guide us to meditation – the surrender of the chattering human mind.
When the human mind is still, one’s vision is authentic; the sounds that resonate are melodious; the sweet smell of perception is exuded; the delicious taste of impartiality is satisfying; and a feeling of softness is warming to the heart. Being can Be; and through the 5 senses all dimensions of living are revealed, making us human beings who can then survive and thrive.
With our 5 senses balanced as a 5 pointed star, we are able to find our place in the cosmos and to flow with the movement of creation.
To survive and thrive, we learn that we are members of one another – and because of that, an awareness and clarity of who we are as Star Beings is very important.
In 2014 it was intimated to me to record these emanations translated as insight, which will give guidance to parents, guardians and educators of the Star Beings born from 1st July – 1st September that year. The feeling was that these children will grow into some of the future leaders in a new world.
I have selected 9 of these dates to share with you. The insights received for any children born anywhere in the world on these days will reveal their potential.

Tuesday 1st July 2014
A strong, well–mannered child, who is bright and creative.
This child always sees the positive in everything. They are a good, loyal, supportive friend; someone that everyone will want to have as a best friend.
Parents are to help them to listen before taking action; to pace themselves physically; and to do what they know they must do.
Friday 11th July 2014
A very creative and artistic person who is strong, stable and able to embrace change.
A leading figure in the Arts, as in an Artistic Director.
Parents are to help this child to express their tremendous energy in creative and artistic pursuits. Very little guidance is needed into how to allow their creativity to blossom. Introduce the child to many things, both practical and imaginative; scientific and artistic.
Sunday 20th July 2014
Minimalist, strong, direct – a founding member of any collaborative venture.
Parents are to have order and family structure in place.
Wednesday 23rd July 2014
A child who can comfortably cope with problems as, interestingly, they see life as a puzzle that is not daunting to them since they can perceive the big picture that makes sense.
Parents need to have order and structure in the home to give this child a sense of orientation to what can realistically be expected of them as a member of their family. This necessary foundation enables the child to place themselves in the picture comfortably.

Friday 1st August 2014
A very insightful child with the intellect to translate what they have received.
Parents need to have order and structure, to show the child that what they receive as an insight can be appropriately applied to daily living.
Thursday 14th August 2014
Everything is contained within. A full and complete being–ness; a strength because of being whole and undivided. This child is very gentle, unassuming, with kindness that is as exquisite as the finest silk. They will likely grow into a leader who rides the subway and no one will guess who they are. They have a simplicity and modesty that is charming and disarming.
Parents may feel overwhelmed by this child and therefore have a relationship with them based on uneasiness, anxiety and lack of confidence. The parents may also feel challenged, inadequate and because of that be regimented or undisciplined in their dealings with the child. Be appreciative of the child and observe who they are; they are very creative, they like their space, they are very bright and content within themselves. For them to grow into full human beings they need the skills shared by you, the parents, as in: order in the home; set mealtimes with nourishing food; learning when to groom and get ready for the day; to have enough sleep; and to know when it is time to play and to work.
Wednesday 20th August 2014
Very determined, so much so, that it can be perceived as bullishness. This child is strong minded, very principled and will stand their ground even in the face of adversity.
Parents need to learn very quickly the interests of this child and energetically facilitate these interests so that the child can have an outlet for their passion for living.
Saturday 23rd August 2014
This child is very aware of the pessimism that they see in the world around them and of how those that are downtrodden feel. They are practical rather than idealistic about what should happen to help these people. Their practical response to what they see makes them conscious of living without excesses of any kind. They are likeable, interesting and form deep bonds with people.
Parents and educators are to guide the child away from identifying with pessimism.

Monday 1st September 2014
This child is a ready participant in life – they feel strong in themselves, are able to listen for direction and have the energetic drive to see things as they are and act accordingly. A mellow, lovely individual.
Parents and educators are to give this child the space to be themselves. Any obsessive, compulsive or rigid tendencies noticed in this child would be a sign that they have resorted to their self–centred conditioning as a default position. Healthy, nutritious food is very important for this child.
