As a Coach and Consultant in the Healing Art of Living, Cheryl Stoll, over the past three decades, has taught the Star Wisdom Teaching around the world.
Born in the Caribbean and brought up in the UK, from an early age Cheryl combined a capacity to bring order to her surroundings with one of nurturing others. The eldest child of seven, she acted as second mother to her younger siblings, and became adept at organising and coping with many situations, always having an eye on what was needed by whom and when. The family was brought up to have an interest in learning and accessing their inner resources, rather than relying on external forms of entertainment to amuse them. Cheryl’s ability to bring undiluted attention to the matter in hand has led her to go deeply into understanding our human condition.
Following her marriage to Dennis Stoll in 1978, through joining him in his work, she began to develop her many gifts. As an Ancient Egyptian Temple Dancer, she appeared at the Festival of Mind and Body in London and was featured in a front-page photograph in the Sunday Times. Tours of Holland followed; performances by the dancers, workshops, seminars and classes continued in London and other parts of the UK. Together, Cheryl and Dennis led two Nile cruises of self-discovery. The Dance of the Cosmos and the Star Wisdom Teaching were evolved at this time. Settling for several years in Australia, performances, seminars, classes and workshops ensued and led to an appearance on prime-time TV.
They returned to the UK and continued to teach, hold seminars, and workshops, while Cheryl also give private sessions. After Dennis’ death in December 1987, Cheryl embarked on a tour of the world and settled in the United States, setting up the New York Sanctuary where she continued her private practice and began the Art of Living Series of classes. Performances, seminars and lectures took place at various venues, including the Open Center.

Cheryl says:
It was after a retreat at the Grand Canyon, that Cheryl led in 1993, that her own abilities as a painter began to unfold in an explosion of colour. She found she could best express what she was trying to show other artists, who came to her for guidance, by painting it herself. All the years of teaching, understanding, counselling and healing came together with her innate sense of beauty and harmony to bring about paintings that express the unseen world and its relationship to the visible universe.
Cheryl draws with soft pastels and charcoal, later adding painting with oils to her repertoire of techniques. Of her pastel paintings she says:
Cheryl has evolved a unique style and technique in her work. In 1993 she had her first art exhibition at the New York Sanctuary. Between 1995 and 1999 annual solo shows of her paintings and poetry took place in London. Her paintings are currently available from her studio in New York; in limited quantities, at certain of her events; and through the online Art Gallery of this website.

Cheryl guides her students into their own discovery of self–understanding so that they can embrace the beauty and truth that is inherent in every moment.
2012 saw her turn her attention to the creation of this website as a means of making the Star Wisdom Teaching widely accessible. In his centenary year, to celebrate the work Dennis had begun and that she continues, she launched the teaching with a world tour.
Cheryl incorporates all her gifts in her private sessions, retreats, classes, lectures, seminars, workshops, writings and art exhibitions to assist us to relate in ways that are loving.
